BRISTOL, R.I. – Mya D'Antonio (Marshfield, Mass.) earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors in the sport of Women's Soccer as the Roger Williams University forward continues to garner honors, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
In order to qualify for the honor, a student-athlete must hold a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher and appear in 90 percent of the team's contests or start 66 percent.
D'Antonio, a CNE All-Conference Second Team honoree, was responsible for 23 points, scoring eight goals and having seven helpers on the season, leading the team, with a shots on goal percentage of 0.481. D'Antonio had two game-winning goals on the season.
This is the first time that D'Antonio has received the honor.
