Women’s Soccer: Marrelli Named to NEWISA Senior Bowl All-Star Game

EAST BOSTON, Mass. - Roger Williams University Women's Soccer's Coco Marrelli (Fairfield, Conn.) will represent the Hawks at the 2025 New England Women's Intercollegiate Soccer Association (NEWISA) Senior Bowl All-Star Game.
 
The match, which will be held at East Boston Memorial Park at 11:00 am on Sunday, Dec. 7. In total, 28 Division III players, with six coming from the Conference of New England (CNE). Marrelli joins Endicott's Rhiann Dugan and Hannah Lord, Hartford's Rebecca Oppenbrouw, Suffolk's Lily Goldmann, and University of New England's Karley Belisle.  
 
Marrelli's appearance marks the 14th time an RWU Women's Soccer player has made an appearance at the senior event, and the first since the 2019 season when Arianna Delli Carpini made an appearance. She is also the first RWU Women's Soccer goalkeeper to make an appearance at any Senior Bowl in program history.
 
Marrelli was named the CNE Goalkeeper of the Year, while starting all 19 games for the Hawks, making 65 saves, with a 0.833 save percentage, posting a 10-3-6 record on the season, with 10 shutouts. Marrelli was tied for 16th nationally in shutouts.
