COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) has announced the NFHCA Division III All-Region Teams, naming Roger Williams University's
Chelsea King (Albany, N.Y.) and
Maddy Monahan (Bristol, N.H.) to the Region I First Team.
For King, this is the third time that she has earned NFHCA All-Region First Team honors, having done so the past two seasons. King completed her collegiate career in a history-making season, scoring 66 points (28 goals, 10 assists) and setting new single-season records for points and goals. King was also the first player in RWU Field Hockey history to surpass the 200-career point mark and the first within the history of the Conference of New England (CNE), formerly known as the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC).
Monahan finished the season with the second All-Region honor of her collegiate career, after being named to the All-Region Second Team in 2024. Monahan totaled 25 points off seven goals and led the team in assists with 11. She tallied four game-winners for the Hawks and was a key contributor on both sides of the field as a midfielder.
The Hawks finished the season with their third straight CNE Championship Appearance. Roger Williams posted a 15-6 record with a 6-1 CNE record during the 2025 campaign.
