GALES FERRY, CONN. - The Roger Williams equestrian team traveled to Mystic Valley Hunt Club on Sunday for the Zone 1 finals competition.

The Zones competition requires each rider to have previously qualified by placing first or second place at the Regional competition. The riders' placement at Zones determines whether or not they will qualify to advance to the National competition, with riders needing to earn one of the top two spots yet again.

The Hawks Mila Weilbaecher (Maryvillie, T.N.) represented the team at the competition after a qualifying round at the Zone 1 Region 1 Regional show on March 16th. In her Limit Flat class, Weilbaecher earned eighth place, unfortunately ending both her and the team's season.

With this, the Hawks 2024-25 season comes to a close.
