GENEVA, Ohio – Angela West earned Second Team All-American Honors in the Javelin Throw, representing the Roger Williams University Women's Track & Field team on Thursday at the NCAA Division III Women's Track & Field National Championships.
West had a top throw of 38.43, finishing five spots outside of qualifying for finals with a throw just 1.48m. West's third throw went for 38.43, finishing 0.98m ahead of her second throw.
West's season ends after throwing for a school record 41.57m in her first season of collegiate competition. West was also the top first-year javelin thrower.
