Field Hockey: Roger Williams Finalizes 2025 Regular Season Schedule

2025 FIELD HOCKEY SCHEDULE

BRISTOL, R.I. —
The Roger Williams University Field Hockey team has finalized the 2025 slate, featuring 19 regular-season matchups, including 10 home games at Bayside Field after coming off a season in which they won their first conference title in program history.

The Hawks open the season at home with back-to-back games, beginning Friday, Aug. 29, against WPI at 6 pm. RWU then hosts Lasell on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 11 a.m., followed by a midweek matchup against Connecticut College on Wednesday, Sept. 3.

After the season-opening three-game homestand, Roger Williams hits the road for its first away contest at Plymouth State on September 6. The Hawks will then host Simmons on Wednesday, Sept. 10 before hosting Nichols for their first Conference of New England (CNE) contest on Saturday, Sept. 13 at 1:00 pm.

After a Tuesday, Sept. 16, matchup in Middletown, Conn., against Wesleyan, the Hawks will return to CNE play Saturday, Sept. 20, when the Hawks travel to Biddeford, Maine to face the University of New England in a rematch of the 2024 CNE Championship.

The Hawks will then take a week before facing off in a battle of the Hawks on Saturday, Sept. 27, matchup at Hartford before heading to Poughkeepsie for a matchup against Vassar, in their first meeting in program history.

Babson will play host to RWU on Wednesday, Oct. 1 at 6:00 pm, before the Hawks host Johnson & Wales on Saturday, Oct. 4 as the Wildcats enter their first year in the CNE. 

UMass Dartmouth will visit Bayside Field on Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 6:00 PM ahead of a Friday, Oct. 10 matchup with CNE foe Gordon. The Hawks will then play Salve Regina on Wednesday, Oct. 15 and Endicott on Saturday, Oct. 18 with both contests being on the road.

The Hawks will host Keene State and Western New England on Thursday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 25 to round out their home slate, before facing off against MIT on Wednesday, Oct. 29 to round out the regular season.

The CNE Tournament is set to begin on Saturday, Nov. 1 with the Semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 5 before the Championship game on Saturday, Nov. 8.
