SPRAGUE, Conn. - The Roger Williams University Men's Golf team currently sits fifth after the first day of the Warrior Invitational on Monday, shooting a team score first round 307 (+27) at Mohegan Sun Golf Club.

Will Lafrance (Westport, Mass.) led the way shooting a 73 (+3) tied for seventh overall. Ryan Dacey (Warwick, R.I.) came in with a 74 (+4), ahead of Sammy Johnson (West Springfield, Mass.), who carded a 76 (+6). Josh Peterson (Goffstown, N.H.) and Dante Hardt (Orange, Conn.) each shot an 84 (+14).

Roger Williams will return to the course on Tuesday for the second round of the Warrior Invitational.
