BEVERLY, Mass. – After a program record setting performance,
Ashton Leclerc (Gorham, Maine) was named the Conference of New England (CNE) Men's Basketball Player of the Week.
This is the first time Leclerc has been awarded with a weekly honor from the CNE.
Leclerc opened the week in a career day. Against Curry, he went 14-for-15 from the floor, including knocking down a school record 12 three-pointers, tallying a program record 43 points in the game. Leclerc then proceeded to go 7-for-19 on Saturday against Nichols, shooting four three-pointers while pulling down three rebounds.
Roger Williams (9-6, 5-1 CNE) will travel to Suffolk on Wednesday, Jan. 14 for a 7:30 pm start, ahead of hitting the road again on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at Hartford.
