Men’s Tennis: Hawks Gear Up for Key 2026 Matchups

BRISTOL, R.I. — The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team enters its Conference of New England (CNE) season as the 2026 portion of its schedule begins, marking the conference phase of a year that started in the fall. The Hawks will face a mix of CNE opponents and key late-season matchups as they build toward postseason play at the CNE Tournament.

The Hawks resume play on Saturday, Feb. 14, traveling to Emerson, followed by a road matchup at the University of New England on Saturday, Feb. 21. RWU will then compete in their Spring Break trip in early Mar., facing Marymount on Sunday, Mar. 8, Hamline on Monday, Mar. 9, Wisconsin–Superior and Marywood on Tuesday, Mar. 10, and Piedmont on Wednesday, Mar. 11.

RWU returns to New England to continue conference play with a road match at Suffolk on Tuesday, March 17.

Roger Williams opens its home schedule on Saturday, Mar. 21, hosting Nichols, before heading to Wentworth on Wednesday, Mar. 25. The Hawks return home on Saturday, Mar. 28, to face the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).

A busy day at the RWU Tennis Courts follows on Tuesday, Mar. 31, as the Hawks host Bridgewater State in the afternoon before welcoming Hartford in an evening matchup. RWU then travels to Endicott on Saturday, Apr. 4, before returning home to host Western New England on Wednesday, Apr. 8.

The regular season continues with a road match at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday, Apr. 11, followed by a home contest against Gordon on Tuesday, Apr. 14. The Hawks wrap up regular season play on the road at Curry on Saturday, Apr. 18.

Postseason play begins with the CNE Tournament First Round on Saturday, Apr. 25. The tournament continues with semifinal action on Wednesday, Apr. 29, and concludes with the CNE Championship on Saturday, May 2.
