BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced their weekly awards for the week ending on Sunday, Apr. 12, naming Roger Williams University's Aaron D'Aversa (Sea Cliff, N.Y.) as the league's Defensive Player of the Week.
 
This is D'Aversa's first Defensive Player of the Week honor this season. D'Aversa opened the week in goal for the Hawks on Wednesday, April 8 in a 9-4 win over Nichols, allowing four goals while making 12 saves and snagging four ground balls. He then shut out Curry 9-0 on Senior Day on Saturday, April 11, making 10 saves and scooping up two ground balls.
 
Roger Williams (6-8, 4-2 CNE) will head to Hartford on Tuesday, April 14 before heading to UNE on Saturday, April 18. The Hawks will then close the regular season at home against JWU on Wednesday, April 22.
