BEVERLY, Mass. — After advancing to the 2026 Conference of New England Championship round, the Roger Williams University softball team earned six All-Conference selections, highlighted by First Team honors for shortstop Shannon Starratt (Lake George, N.Y.) and pitcher Raegen Germano (Old Tappan, N.J.).
The honors are voted on by league coaches and are reflective of the team's regular-season statistics, with no statistics coming from the CNE Tournament.
The Hawks finished the season 24-13 overall and 13-7 in conference play while ranking among the conference's most balanced teams offensively and defensively. Roger Williams batted .317 as a team with 326 hits, 177 runs scored, and 24 home runs, while the pitching staff combined for a 2.59 ERA and 193 strikeouts across 248.2 innings.
Starratt delivered one of the premier offensive campaigns in the conference, batting .417, tied for a team-high 48 hits while posting 12 doubles, two triples, six home runs, and 34 RBIs across 37 regular-season starts. The Hawks' shortstop also scored 27 runs, stole nine bases without being caught, and compiled a .713 slugging percentage and .504 on-base percentage.
Germano anchored the RWU pitching staff with an 11-4 record and a 2.51 ERA in 18 appearances. The right-hander tossed 92 innings, striking out 96 batters while holding opposing hitters to a .187 batting average. Germano added six complete games and one shutout during her First Team campaign.
Second Team All-Conference honors went to pitcher Keira Quadros (East Providence, R.I.), who posted a 10-4 record and a 2.66 ERA across 76.1 innings pitched during the regular season. Quadros struck out 67 hitters while issuing just 11 walks all season and added four complete games, one shutout, and a save in 19 appearances. She additionally contributed offensively with a .273 batting average in limited at-bats.
Roger Williams placed three additional student-athletes on the Third Team in outfielder Lucy Maurao (Holliston, Mass.), designated player Madison Moran (Attleboro, Mass.), and utility player Hailey Williams (Vernon, Conn.).
Maurao hit .348 with 40 hits, 29 runs scored, four home runs, 17 RBIs, and nine stolen bases while posting a .420 on-base percentage. Williams matched Starratt for the team lead with 48 hits, batting .372 with eight doubles, three home runs, and 17 RBIs while appearing in 36 games. Moran emerged as one of the Hawks' top run producers, recording a .323 average with 10 doubles, four home runs, and 22 RBIs alongside a .559 slugging percentage.
Roger Williams also received Community Service Team recognition from Hailey Williams for her contributions away from the field.
Roger Williams finished the campaign with a 26-15 record on the season, including postseason play, while posting a 13-7 CNE record during the regular season. The Hawks reached the CNE Championship for the first time in two seasons, falling just short of the league title.
