BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Tennis team is set to open their NCAA Division III Tournament run, facing off against Farmingdale State at Bowdoin.
The Hawks are coming off their first CNE Championship since the 2021 season, and will take part in the national tournament for the first time since the campaign. The Hawks tournament will open with a matchup against Farmingdale State (14-7, 7-1 Skyline), who defeated Manhattanville, 4-3, in the Skyline Conference Championship.
The winner will advance to face hosts Bowdoin (17-4, 9-2 NESCAC) in the second round of the tournament. In the other first-round game in the pod, Skidmore (16-5, 7-1 Liberty League) and Bridgewater State (12-4, 6-0 LEC) will face off in the opening round, with the winner of that match advancing to play Babson (18-4, 7-0 NEWMAC).
