FT. MYERS, Fla. – The Roger Williams University Softball team earned two wins Wednesday afternoon over Lasell College and the University of Scranton with respective wins of 1-0 and 7-2.
Sophomore Jaclyn Doolin (Miller Place, N.Y.) picked up the win in the first game while classmate Hannah Pirez (Bolton, Mass.) scored the lone run of the game, tripling then getting knocked in off a sacrifice fly by senior Samantha Teves (Somerset, Mass.). In the second game, freshman Kelly Marcin (Windsor Locks, Conn.) earned her first win as a Hawk, while Pirez homered in the game.
