Softball to hold “Beat Cancer With a Bat” game on Sunday

BRISTOL, R.I. – This Sunday, April 15, the Roger Williams University Softball team will be participating in the “Beat Cancer With a Bat” Campaign with the National Foundation for Cancer Research during the team's 9:30 a.m. doubleheader against the University of New England.

Fans in attendance are encouraged to wear pink in support for cancer awareness. Baked goods will be available for purchase, will all funds raised going towards the National Foundation for Cancer Research. In addition, donations for the NFCR will be accepted throughout the day.

After the doubleheader, there will be a cookout provided by the parents of the Softball team for all fans.
