BRISTOL, R.I. - The Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team is set to face Babson College in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament.

Roger Williams and Babson square off Friday, November 13 at 12:30 pm on the campus of Massachusetts Institute of Technology, who will be the host institution for the regional tournament.

Babson earned their way to the NCAA Tournament after winning its second consecutive New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Championship this past weekend. The Beavers, entering the tournament as the #4 seed, earned a 3-0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-11) win over the #3 seed Clark University in the NEWMAC Championship. In the process, Babson tied a school record with its 27
th win on the season.

The Beavers are led by senior Mary Donahue, who leads Babson with 339 kills on the year, as well as classmate Alicia Wilde is the only person on the team with over 200 kills and 200 assists, with 266 and 284, respectively.

Roger Williams enters the NCAA Tournament for the seventh straight season after capturing the Commonwealth Coast Conference Championship. RWU defeated Gordon College 3-0 (25-17, 25-19, 25-18) in the CCC Championship Saturday afternoon to give the Hawks its seventh consecutive conference title.

Helping pace the Hawks are 2015 All-CCC First Team selection
Elizabeth Flaherty (Sloatsburg, N.Y.) and 2015 CCC Rookie of the Year
Molly Quilty. Flaherty leads the Hawks and the conference in kills per set at 3.23, while Quilty's 1.03 blocks per set is tops on the team and in the CCC.

Roger Williams holds a 9-5 edge in the all-time series between the two teams. However, the Beavers won the last matchup, defeating the Hawks 3-1 (25-21, 25-15, 22-25, 25-19) back on October 17 at the Wellesley Invitational.
