Box Score 2 WALTHAM, Mass. - The Roger Williams University Women's Volleyball team took both matches of a tri-match in the team's final two matches of the regular season. The Hawks defeated Brandeis 3-1 in the opener before pulling off a 3-2 win over Babson.

In the opener, Brandeis pulled off a 29-27 win in the first set before the Hawks rallied back to sweep the next three sets. Roger Williams collected a pair of 25-17 wins to take a 2-1 lead. The team would then close out the match by claiming the final set 25-16.

Molly Quilty (Duxbury, Mass.) led the Hawks with 12 kills and five blocks (one solo, four assist) in the match, while
Lara LoIacono (Lynbrook, N.Y.) and
Kristen Boyer (Ephrata, Pa.) each added ten kills.
Julia Fields (Cortlandt Manor, N.Y.) logged 37 assists, while
Emiley Melillo (Seattle, Wash.) added 13.
Sarah McAniff (Redding, Conn.) served up a match-high five aces.

Against Babson, the Hawks took the opening set by a 25-21 margin. Babson would come back with a 25-22 win in the second set to knot things at one apiece. RWU claimed a 2-1 lead after taking the third set 25-22, but faltered in the fourth set, falling 25-9. The Hawks would rally in the fifth game, holding down the Beavers 15-8 and ending the regular season on a high note.

Boyer finished with a team-high 14 kills along with eight digs. Quility and
Cassandra Minogue (Manorville, N.Y.) each added eight kills, with Fields and Melillo combining for 35 assists.
Maria Batas (Merrick, N.Y.) tallied 14 digs for RWU.

Roger Williams (19-7) will host the University of New England Tuesday in the Commonwealth Coast Conference Quarterfinals.
