Sophomore Taylor Segreti (North Potomac, Md.) tied for team-high honors with two assists and junior Zach Cattaruzza (Guilford, Conn.) led the squad with three caused turnovers.

Senior Will Siefert (Duxbury, Mass.) finished with four goals and two assists to lead the Hawks. Classmate Cam Donnelly (Medfield, Mass.) scooped up a team-high six ground balls, while fellow senior Jake Wygonik (Madison, Conn.) led all players with four caused turnovers.

Dillon and Duffy gave the Green and White a 2-1 lead midway through the first quarter, and Brown followed with three tallies in just over three minutes to put the hosts up 5-3 after 15 minutes. Roger Williams trimmed its deficit to one on Siefert's second goal of the day with 8:48 left in the second quarter, but Maloney's man-down marker sparked a three-goal run that pushed the Beavers' advantage to 9-5 with 5:48 to go until halftime.

Siefert struck again just before the break to pull the Hawks within 9-6, but Babson sophomore Jason Cox (Westwood, Mass.) and Dillion notched back-to-back goal early in the third quarter to give the Green and White its biggest lead of the afternoon at 11-6 with 10:55 left in the stanza. Roger Williams countered with a three-goal spurt to cut the margin to 11-9 less than three minutes into the fourth quarter.  The Beavers responded with back-to-back tallies from junior Connor Flaherty (Honeoye Falls, N.Y.) and Fabel just 20 seconds apart to regain a 13-9 edge with 11:38 remaining in the contest.

Babson sophomore goalkeeper Jordan Shapiro (Pleasantville, N.Y.) made four fourth-quarter stops, but the Hawks made one last push with three straight goals in the closing minutes. Senior Doug Brown (Goldens Bridge, N.Y.) made it 13-10 with 3:22 to play, while classmate Caleb Kenney (Portland, Maine) and Donnelly followed with tallies just 22 seconds apart to get within one at the 1:56 mark. That was as close as the visitors would get though, as junior Daniel Madden (West Islip, N.Y.) scooped up the ground ball on the ensuing face-off for the Beavers, who were able to run out the clock and preserve the win.

Shapiro finished with nine saves on the afternoon, while junior Connor Carroll (Madison, Conn.) made eight of his 11 saves in the first half for Roger Williams.

Both teams return to action on Wednesday at 4 p.m. as the Beavers travel to Wheaton, while the Hawks host Salve Regina.
