Men’s Lacrosse: Zirn Named USILA All-American Honorable Mention

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association has announced its 2026 Division III All-Americans, with Roger Williams University Men's Lacrosse senior defender Kyle Zirn (Derry, N.H.) being named USILA Division III All-American Honorable Mention.

The recognition marks the fourth time in program history that a men's lacrosse player has earned the honor. Connor Hillemeir and Peter Navarro earned the honor in 2021, while Mark Fesenmeyer was the first All-American in program history in 2015.

Zirn wrapped up his senior season with 90 ground balls and 55 caused turnovers while adding two assists. The defender started all 19 games for the Hawks and took home Conference of New England (CNE) Defensive Player of the Year and CNE All-Conference First Team honors. Zirn also earned USA Lacrosse Division III Men's Lacrosse Honorable Mention All-American for the second consecutive time, and is the first in program history to earn the honor twice.

His 90 ground balls rank eighth in program history for a single season, while his 55 caused turnovers rank second all-time in a single season behind only his own program-record mark of 57 set in 2025. Zirn also owns four of the top five single-season caused turnover totals in school history.

Zirn closed his collegiate career as Roger Williams' all-time leader in caused turnovers with 195, nearly doubling the previous program record of 107 held by Tyler Zanini. He also finished second in school history with 283 career ground balls, trailing only Alan Williams' 412, while recording the most ground balls ever by a non-faceoff specialist in program history.
