Lawton scored early in the first to put the Hawks up 1-0.  The Hawks extended on their lead as they tallied four in the second including two from the fourth line.  BU would add on before the period ended, leaving the Hawks with a 5-1 lead after two. BU added struck twice early in the third to cut deficit to 5-3.  Sauerbrunn however put the hawks back up 6-3, BU had a flurry of chances and would add only one more as net minder Ryan Shea and the Hawk's defense shut the door for a 6-3 victory.
