CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Roger Williams men's ice hockey team fell to Boston College 5-2 on Friday night at the Reilly Memorial Rink.
The Eagles had domination over the rink during the first period of the game with three goals against the Hawks.
During the second period,
Brian Gazard (Ashland, Mass.) opened up the scoring for Roger Williams, finding the back of the net unassisted. The Eagles quickly responded with two goals to gain back control, making the score 5-1.
Only the Hawks scored during the third period,
Grady Chretien (Goffstown, N.H.) put them back on the scoreboard 5-2 with an assisted goal from
Collin Berube (Groton, Mass.). Both teams fought hard, but ultimately Boston College was able to take home the win for the Eagles.
Roger Williams (3-7-0) will host Eastern Connecticut State on Saturday, Nov. 11 at 2:00pm at Portsmouth Abbey Arena, the Hawks will then travel to UConn on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 2:40pm to play at Bolton Ice Palace
