This past Sunday, February 19 the RWU Hockey team claimed the title of 2017 NECHA American Champions. The final score against Eastern Conn State University was 5-2. The team worked hard this season and are now heading to Nationals! Their NECHA playoff weekend consisted of wins against Bridgewater State in the quarterfinals on Thursday, February 16 (4-3) and Norwich University in the Semi-finals on Saturday, February 18 (4-1). We look forward to seeing what the Hawks do in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Northeast Regionals Friday, February 24, in Danbury, Connecticut.
