Box Score MIDDLETOWN, R.I. - Trailing 12-4 late in the third quarter the Salve Regina University men's lacrosse team went on a 6-1 run to close the game, but ran out of time on a comeback, falling by a 13-10 final to Roger Williams in Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) action Wednesday.
This was the 21st meeting between the two teams. The Hawks own a 20-1 record in the all-time series and have won 12 in a row over the Seahawks.

Dolan Jones (Levittown, N.Y.) - made 15 save to improve to 3-0 in net for the Hawks. Roger Williams senior
Max Cammarota (Redding, Conn.) - scored three goals and had an assist.
Salve Regina junior Andrew Fera (Cranston, R.I.) - scored a game-high four goals and handed out an assist.
After the Seahawks went on a 3-0 run to tie the game at 3-3 the Hawks responded with an 8-1 run spanning half-time to take control of the game. Seven different players scored during that stretch for Roger Williams. The Seahawks battled back with a 6-1 run of their own late in the third and into the fourth quarter, but ran out of time.
Matt D'Amore (Duxbury, Mass.) made 10 saves in net for the Seahawks. While Fera was the games leading goal scorer, Nick LoCicero (Lynbrook, N.Y.) led all players with six points. He totaled one goal and five assists on the day.
Salve Regina held a 40-30 advantage in shots, 58-50 advantage in ground balls, 13-12 advantage in turnovers, and won 16 of 26 draws.
Despite having the statistical edge in most categories the Seahawks went through a 26-minute stretch of the game only scoring one goal. That offensive lull helped the Hawks establish the lead that they rode to the finish line.
