BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Sailing team took part in four regattas in another busy weekend for the Hawks this past Saturday and Sunday. Roger Williams did work, placing eighth or better in all four.
 
Hawk Highlights
At the Atlantic Coast Championships, the Hawks posted a fourth-place finish, aided by a fourth and seventh-place showing at A and B Division respectively. A cooperative breeze allowed 16 races to be sailed over the course of the weekend. The Massachusetts Maritime Invitational saw Roger Williams come away with sixth place overall, were six races were sailed in the single-day event.
 
The Hawks claimed sixth place at the Captain Hurst Bowl, with Aidan Hoogland (Chula Vista, Calif.) and Molly Matthews (Grosse Ile, Mich.) helping pilot B Division to a second-place finish. RWU wrapped up the weekend at the Nevins Trophy, where the team took eighth place over a long weekend that saw 17 races sailed.
