KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) and
Rachel Oster (Scituate, R.I.) of the Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team have been honored by the United Soccer Coaches by being named to the NCAA Division III Women's Region II Team. Robbins was selected to the Region II Second Team with Oster honored on the Region II Third Team.
Robbins was the top scorer in the CCC in the 2021 season as she was able to collect a total of 16 goals. In addition to being the leading scorer in the conference, she also led the CCC in points on the season (37) while being named CCC Co-Offensive Player of the Year. She set a career high with four goals in the Hawks' game against Rhode Island College on September 3. IN addition, Robbins received CCC Offensive Player of the Week honors two times this season, first the week of August 30th through September 5th and then again for the week of October 4th through October 10th.
Oster was another major asset for the Hawks this past season. After playing in 21 games with 17 starts, she tied for the lead in the Commonwealth Coast Conference with eight assists on the season and fourth in shots with 51. Oster was also honored by the CCC as an All-CCC First Team selection. Throughout the season, Oster was able to collect a total of 20 points coming from six goals and eight assists, while ranking sixth in the CCC in points and eighth in the conference in goals.
