NEW LONDON, Conn. – The Roger Williams University Sailing team earned another victory this past weekend, this time taking first place at the Southern New England Team Race.
Hawk Highlights
Roger Williams sent three boats to compete over the course of the single round-robin regatta. The Hawks 1 boat logged a nearly perfect day, posting wins in eight of the nine races. The Hawks two boat was able to come away with five wins including a sweep of both Connecticut College and URI boats. The Hawks three boat faltered a bit, as the team's lone win came against the Connecticut College 2 boat.
