BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Sailing team took to the water at four regattas this past weekend, coming home with a pair of fourth-place finishes.
 
Hawk Highlights
The Hawks came away with a pair of fourth-place finishes at the Boston University Team Race and the Women's Duplin Trophy. RWU got off to a slow start at the BU Team Race but was able to come through with a strong finish to close the weekend. The opposite was characterized at the Duplin Trophy, with the Hawks beginning well before faltering at the end of the regatta.
 
At the Friis Trophy, Roger Williams claimed a fifth place showing while the Hawks took seventh at the Admiral Moore Trophy. RWU performed well in both rounds of the team race, but a tight cluster of the top teams pushed RWU to fifth, as only four wins separated the top five teams. At the Admiral Moore Trophy, the Hawks struggled a bit in both rounds, posting two wins in each round.
