The Roger Williams University Sailing team was named as an at-large selection to the ICSA Team Racing National Championship, as it was announced on Tuesday. This marks the eighth time in program history that the Hawks have earned a spot in the Team Racing National Championship, doing so for the second consecutive year.
 
The team is comprised of the boat pairs of Spencer Cartwright (Nassau, Bahamas) and Rachel Holick (Lawrence, N.J.), Cameron Wood (Corona Del Mar, Calif.) and Emily Gildea (Palos Park, Ill.), and Aidan Hoogland (Chula Vista, Calif.) and Molly Matthews (Grosse Ile, Mich.). The six sailors are the same six who went to the Team Racing National Championships last spring to secure second-place. Hank Bailey (Chatham, Mass.) and Riley Read (Portland, Ore.) are also members of the squad as alternates.
 
The ICSA Team Racing National Championship will be held at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana this year, taking place from Monday, May 16^th through Wednesday, May 18^th.
