WARWICK, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Men's Golf team finished fourth in the field of 12 at the Rhode Island College Invitational at Valley Country Club in Warwick, RI on Friday.
The Hawks finished the day with a team score of 318 (+30), only two strokes off the winners, Westfield State (316, +28). Finishing in a tie for second was Salem State University and Springfield College who each posted team scores of 317.

Leading the way for the Hawks was rookie
Trevor Hada (Los Angeles, Calif.) who carded a +5, 77, placing him in a tie for seventh. Captains
Ben DeFelice (Warwick, R.I.) and
Ben Brodeur (Whitinsville, Mass.) also posted rounds of 78 and 80 respectively, giving the Hawks three players who finished the day with scores of 80 or better on the par-72 course.
Finishing in a tie for 22
nd after shooting an 83 (+11) was freshman
Brian See (Mansfield, Mass.). The final golfer for the Hawks was
Jake Brennan (Duxbury, Mass.) who passed in +14, 86.
