BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams men's ice hockey team played back-to-back games on Friday, Oct. 20, and Saturday, Oct. 21. To start the weekend, the Hawks traveled to Bridgewater State where they fell 3-1, followed by a home game against Providence where they won 4-2.
In the match against Bridgewater State, Pat Codeanne (Wethersfield, Conn.) was the lone goal scorer for the Hawks. However, in the game against Providence, Roger Williams saw four different players score, namely Shane Marshall (Canton, Mass.), Peyton Defeo (Boxford, MA), Brendan McCabe (Pembroke, MA), and Grady Chretien (Goffstown, NH).
Roger Williams (3-2-0) is set to host their annual alumni game on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 3:00 pm at Portsmouth Abbey, followed by the Hawks hosting Bentley on Saturday, Oct. 28. Following this, the Hawks will have two consecutive contests against Sacred Heart.
