PORTSMOUTH, R.I. – The Roger Williams University golf team finished third at the RWU Invitational at Green Valley Country Club.
The Hawks five scorers combined for a 322 overall finishing one stroke behind second place Salem State. Endicott took the top spot finishing with a 311 overall score.
Ben Brodeur (Whitinsville, Mass.) placed first individually, hitting a 75 overall to beat the second-place golfers by two strokes.
Cal Tryder (Wakefield, Mass.) went 10 over par for an 81, while
Johnny Doherty (Braintree, Mass.) hit 11 over par.
Ben DeFelice (Warwick, R.I.) hit +13 over par for a 84, while
Jake Brennan (Duxbury, Mass.) rounded out scoring with a 14 over par for an 85.
Roger Williams will be in Worcester for the Rich Korzec Invitational hosted by Worcester State.
