WENHAM, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Women's Cross Country team placed seventh overall on Saturday at the CNE Championship, earning multiple PR and SB performances across the lineup in the postseason meet.
Junior Grace Baldwin (Braintree, Mass.) led the Hawks with a career day, running a personal-best time of 23:33.84 to finish 12th overall and secure a top-12 scoring position in the field.
Sophomore Gabriella Sitzer (Singerland, New York) followed as RWU's second finisher, placing 27th in 24:21.54 with a PR of her own, while junior Olivia O'Neill (Westwood, Mass.) recorded a season-best at 24:28.54 to take 28th.
Senior Amanda Walsh (South Windsor, Conn.) was the fourth Hawk across the line, grabbing 48th with a personal best of 25:24.67, and sophomore Bree Killion (Rochester, Mass.) closed out the scoring group in 74th for RWU.
As a team, the Hawks totaled 165 points to place seventh in the 10-team championship field, highlighted by a deep lineup effort that saw freshmen and returners alike post strong postseason drops.
