CANTON, N.Y. – The Roger Williams University Women's Cross Country team saw their season come to a close in the early afternoon on Saturday, as the Hawks placed 22nd at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championship.
Grace Baldwin (Braintree, Mass.) was the first Hawk to finish the course, closing her collegiate cross country career with a 25:19.3 time placing 101st overall in the field. Olivia O'Neill (Westwood, Mass.) then placed second 26.4 seconds later, closing her race with a time of 25:45.7, finishing 114, collecting 113 points for RWU.
Gabriella Sitzer (Slingerlands, N.Y.) also finished the day in the top 120, finishing with a time of 26:03.3 over the 6K course. Amanda Walsh (South Windsor, Conn.) finished fourth for RWU, closing out her collegiate cross country career with a time of 27:23.9, while Bree Killion (Rochester, Mass.) rounded out scoring with 155 total points placing 172nd in the field in 30:10.9.
Rounding out the field for Roger Williams was Lindsay Maine (Richmond, R.I.) who completed her first-year campaign with a 31:13.3 time placing 178th in the field.
Roger Williams season concludes with a seventh place finish at the CNE Championships, and a Mideast Regional finish of 22nd.
