BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Club Women's Rugby team swept their four matches at the Rugby Northeast Qualifying Tournament on Sunday, sweeping all four of their matches, punching their ticket to the 7s National Championship in Boyds, Maryland.
The Hawks went unbeaten on the weekend, with a 36-0 win over Providence College, ahead of a 20-12 win over the University of New Hampshire. The Hawks then defeated Norwich 25-0, before beating New Hampshire in the finals, 26-10.
Natalia Comiskey had six tries and a conversion, tallying 32 points, while
Bianca Caprio had 24 points off four tries and a pair of conversions.
This is the Hawks' fourth straight season taking the RNE Crown and will be their fourth straight season attending the National Championships.
The Hawks will travel down to Boyds, Md. on April 25
th-27
th for the 7s National Tournament.
