Cross Country: Roger Williams University to Race Five Meets in 2025 Ahead of CNE Championship

The Roger Williams University Men's and Women's Cross Country teams have released their 2025 schedule, which features a five-meet schedule, ahead of November's Conference of New England (CNE) Championship.

The season opens on Saturday, Aug. 30, with a national stage appearance at the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals in Spartanburg, S.C., hosted by Converse University. The Hawks will then head to Connecticut for the Trinity Invitational in Hartford on Sept. 6.

On Sept. 20, Roger Williams travels to North Dartmouth for the UMass Dartmouth Invitational before heading to the Paul Short Invitational in Bethlehem, Penn., on Friday, Oct. 3.

The Hawks return Westfield State for the James Earley Invitational in Westfield on Oct. 11, in their final meet of the regular season.

RWU will then turn their attention to the CNE Championships to take place on Saturday, Nov. 1 hosted by Gordon. Two weeks later, the team heads to Canton, New York, for the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional on Nov. 15.

Pending qualifiers, RWU will conclude its season in Spartanburg, S.C., at the NCAA Division III National Championship on Nov. 22.

The Hawks are coming off of a season in which the Men's Cross Country team picked up their fourth-straight conference title, while the Women's Cross Country team saw a second place finish their best since 2019, and placed 13th at the Mideast Regional Championship, their best finish in program history. The Hawks also saw Nathan Tassey and Dylan Beggins reach the NCAA National Championship in the 2024 campaign.
