UNITED SOCCER COACHES REGIONAL RANKINGS
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Roger Williams University Men's Soccer team was ranked third in the United Soccer Coaches Region II Rankings as announced by the organization on Tuesday.Â
The Hawks ended the week with a 4-0-1 record after a Saturday win at MCLA, 4-0. The Hawks came off a week in which they beat MIT, after earning a Friday, Sept. 5 win at Endicott.Â
The Hawks sit behind Wheaton (Mass.) who is first in the poll, while Babson sits at No. 2. The Hawks rank third, ahead of Brandeis, Endicott, and Suffolk who sit four through six respectively. Rounding out the region is Salve Regina and Mass. Maritime who sit seventh and eighth.Â
Roger Williams (4-0-1, 1-0-0 CNE) will face #12 Babson on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 6:00 pm on Bayside Field. Â The Hawks will then return to Conference of New England (CNE) play on Saturday, Sept. 20, when they face off against the Wildcats at Johnson & Wales.Â
