BEVERLY, Mass. –  The Conference of New England has announced its weekly awards for the week ending on Mar. 22, announcing Roger Williams University Midfielder Brady Lee (Mattapoisett, Mass) as the league's Offensive Player of the Week and Freshman Attacker Caleb McKeown (Plymouth, Mass) as the league's Rookie of the week for the sport of Men's Lacrosse.
 
Lee tallied a total of nine points on the week with six goals and three assists. Lee opened the week with five goals in a 14-13 overtime loss at Mass. Maritime, ahead of a one-goal and three-assist performance, rounding out the week at Emmanuel.  The Hawks midfielder, also picked up a pair of ground balls.
 
McKeown also had a hot streak this week as well as he racked up three goals and one assist, earning him four points against Mass. Maritime. McKeown led the team in ground balls with seven and had 5 shots on goal against the Buccaneers. Following the overtime loss, McKeown responded by leading the Hawks against Emmanuel with four goals and four points to get the 16-6 win.
 
Roger Williams (2-6, 0-0 CNE) will host Gordon for their first CNE game on Wednesday, Mar. 25 at 12 pm. The Hawks will then host their second CNE game of the week against Endicott on Saturday, Mar. 28 at 12 pm.
