With 6:55 left in the first half Owen Caruso (Port Washington, N.Y.) dished to Knapton who scored bringing his team up by one, 3-4.  Less than two minutes later at 4:05 Garret Mullins (Jefferson Township, N.J.) sends a shot past the goalie increasing the score to 5-3. RWU answered when Tim Kelly (Ridgefield, Conn.) is to the left of the goalie and passes across the arc to Siefert resulting in the Hawks last goal of the half, and keeps them trailing by one goal.

WNE kept the pressure on reconnecting McKinney with Lawton at 8:54 for another goal raising the lead to two. They increased their lead to 8-5 at 6:28 when Craig sunk the buried another shot in the back of the net off a RWU turnover in the mid-field.  WNE continues to increase their margin when Craig scored again at 5:31.  Quickly building momentum, Garret Mullins (Jefferson Township, N.J.) scored to push the lead to 5-10 and put the contest out of reach.  A goal by Adam Knapton (Canandaigua, N.Y.) with 3 seconds left in third quarter put the score at 6-11.
