Kyle Kaiser (Paramus, N.J.) lost 6-2 to #7 Cole Laya (Fairmont, W.Va) to start the match followed with a tough loss from
Tristan Haviland (Trumbull, Conn.) against #4 Tyler Warner (Dennison, Ohio), 14-0.

The first Hawk to win points for the team was
Tyler Gazaway (New Providence, N.J.) with a win of 14-10 while #5
Taylor Shay (New Fairfield, Conn.) had a huge win against #7 Keegan Driscoll (Hilliard, Ohio), 3-2 in the 165 dual. Â

Later in the match,
Anthony Malfitano (Pearl River, N.Y.), lost in a close match in overtime, 8-6. The match ended 36-6, with WJU takes its seventh win of the season.

The RWU Â team also lost against Navy Prep on Saturday 30-20.

Tyler Gazaway (New Providence, N.J.) took a win for the Hawks and defeated his opponent in a close match 6-5.
Taylor Shay (New Fairfield, Conn.) sealed a win for the Hawks 16-1 by a tech fall.

Brett Leonard (New Milford, Conn.) and
Ryan DeLoach (Bethlehem, Pa.) also had wins against their Navy Prep opponents. Losses from a few of the Hawk's key wrestlers created an unsuccessful outcome for the day.

The Hawks will return to competition after the holiday season at the NWCA National Duals and then quickly return to Bristol to hold the Scott Viera Open on the 6
th.
