DURHAM, NH – The Roger Williams University Wrestling team competed in two tournaments over the weekend, the David Butler Duals and the WPI Duals. They won a total of five matches to give them an overall record of 6-2.
In the David Butler Duals, RWU won against University of Connecticut (31-15), University of New Hampshire (61-0), MIT (42-16), and BIW Apprentice (53-11).
Ryan Grebe (Sound Beach, N.Y.) had two pins to help the Hawks have a successful day on the mats.
In the WPI Duals, the Hawks took down Norwich (33-11), but lost to Castleton (20-16) and to Stevens (12-37).
Brett Leonard (New Milford, Conn.) won all three matches on the day by a pin and two decisions.
Connor Meytrott (Montville, N.J.) defeated his two opponents by decisions as well.

The Hawks will compete on December 6-7 at New Standard Corp. Invite (Hosted by York) and on Saturday, December 7
th at Ted Reese Invite (Hosted by Southern Maine).
