BIDDEFORD, Maine – Junior forward
Bianca Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) received Commonwealth Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this fall for the Roger Williams University Women's Soccer team, it was announced by the conference offices on Tuesday. Robbins received the honor after posting her second game with three or more goals on the season and helped guide the Hawks to a 2-0 week.
This is the second time Robbins has received CCC Player of the Week honors this year after winning it for the week of August 30
th through September 5
th. It is also the third time this year that a women's soccer player has received the honor after
Leah Yucius received Player of the Week recognition for the week of September 20
th through September 26
th.
Robbins was superb in the Hawks victory on Thursday against UMass-Dartmouth. In that contest she provided the offense for RWU netting all three goals in a 3-0 Roger Williams victory.
On the season, Robbins tops the CCC with 26 points and 12 goals. Her goal total is four more than anyone else in the conference including her own teammate, Yucius who is tied for second with eight scores. In addition, she has recorded a pair of assists.
