DURHAM, N.H. – The Roger Williams University wrestling team competed over the weekend at the David Butler Brawls hosted by the University of New Hampshire, taking the top spot collectively as a team.
 
Ari Dinerman (Ashland, Mass.) earned a top finish at 125 pounds, with Elias Hajali and Shaun McLaughlin (Natick, Mass.) each reaching the 133 pound finals.
 
At 141 pounds, Matthew Castillo (Port Washington, N.Y.) placed first, with Ben Bariso (Butler, N.J.) also accomplishing the feat at 165 pounds. Hunter Rasmussen (Fairfield, Conn.) and Will Van Wyck took first place finishes in their respective weight classes.
 
Roger Williams will take part in the Violet Duals on Saturday, Dec. 2 hosted by NYU before traveling to Springfield for a Dual Meet on Friday, Dec. 8 at 6:00 pm.  The Hawks will host the Scott Viera Open on Saturday, Dec. 9 with matches beginning at 9:00 am.
