BEVERLY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Women's Cross Country had three members of the squad named to the Conference of New England (CNE) All-Conference teams, as finalized by the league Tuesday.
The teams are based off the results of the CNE Championship meet, with the top five earning First Team honors, while runners finishing sixth through 10
th earned Second Team All-Conference status. Runners finishing in 11
th through 15
th were placed on the Third Team.
Caitlin Boufford (Londonderry, N.H.) and
Brittany Martin (Potsdam, N.Y.) were named Second Team All-Conference, with Boufford finishing sixth at the CNE Championship in 22:33.38. Martin was also named to the Second Team finishing in ninth, with a time of 22:53.64.
The Hawks third All-Conference runner was
Katie Flaherty (West Hartford, Conn.) who finished her race in 23:30.66, placing 14
th at the meet rounding out All-Conference selections.
Gordon's Rachel Brennan was named the CNE Runner of the year while Sky Anderson of the University of New England took home rookie of the year honors. Representing the Hawks on the community service team was Flaherty.
Roger Williams concluded their season with their best conference championship finish since 2019, while also posting their best finish in program history at NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals.
