BIDDEFORD, Maine – The Roger Williams Women's Soccer team is set play at No. 4 University of New England (UNE) in the first round of the Conference of New England (CNE) Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 1.
The Hawks posted a 10-2-6 regular season record, with a 5-1-4 record in conference play this season. Their CNE First Round opponent, No. 4 UNE, posted a 12-4-3 record in regular play and a 6-2-2 record within the conference.
Earlier this season, the Hawks weathered the storm on Sept. 27th and kept the Nor'Easters to a 1-1 draw in Bristol. Looking at the all-time records between the two teams, this is the only tie they have had, with the Hawks' overall record against UNE being 19-14-1.
Going into tournament play, the Hawks as a team have had 40 goals on the season, averaging 2.22 per game. They have 336 overall shots with a shot on goal percentage of 0.491, with 31 assists throughout the 2025 season.
Offensively, the Hawks' goal leaders for the 2025 season are Mya D'Antonio (Marshfield, Mass.) and Beth Yucius (Duxbury, Mass.), each with eight goals apiece. D'Antonio has 23 points on the season, and Yucius has 20 points. Julia Robbins (Johnston, R.I.) sits at seven goals and 17 points. For assists this season, Camryn Dickinson (Quaker Hill, Conn.) leads the Hawks with nine, followed by D'Antonio with seven. Yucius follows with the third most assists for the season at four.
D'Antonio also leads the Hawks in shots taken and shots on goal for the season, having 80 and 38, respectively. Not too far behind her is Yucius with 61 shots and 30 shots on goal.
As for goalkeeper performance this season, Coco Marrelli (Fairfield, Conn.) has been solid for the Hawks with 60 saves. Marrelli faced 139 shots and posted a .845 save percentage for this season.
The Nor'easters are led offensively by Karley Belisle, who tallied six goals and seven assists for 19 total points. Jill Hodgson and Emily Talbot are tied for second on the team in points with 16, with Hodgson tallying five goals and six assists to Talbot's six goals and four assists. Haley Coombs has posted an 11-4-3 record in net, making 87 saves while allowing 14 goals on the season over 1534:52.
No. 5 Roger Williams will travel to play No. 5 UNE on Saturday, Nov 1st at 6:00 PM on the road at the Blue Storm Stadium in Biddeford, Maine, with the winner advancing to the CNE Tournament Semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 5.
