BEVERLY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Ice Hockey team saw Nicholas Rooney (Tampa, Fla.) named the Conference of New England (CNE) Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.
 
Rooney finished the week with four points across two games for the Hawks, including three goals and an assist. He opened the week with two goals and an assist on Friday, in a 4-0 win for the Hawks over CNE foe Western New England, before adding the lone tally on Saturday at UMass Boston.
 
Roger Williams (3-7-0, 2-5-0 CNE) will host Southern New Hampshire on Wednesday, Dec. 10 at 7:00 pm before breaking until Saturday, Jan. 3 when they play at Framingham State.
