WILLIAMSTOWN, MASS. - Roger Williams University athletes Hailey Garcia and Griffin Hebert delivered standout performances at the F.I.R.E. Meet, hosted May 9–10, 2025, at Williams College.

Garcia shined in the women's shot put, earning a second-place finish in a highly competitive field. Her throw of 13.31m is her second best mark of her young career, trailing only her throw at the Conference of New England Championships (13.58m) a few weekends ago.

On the track, Griffin Hebert competed in the 400-meter hurdles and secured a ninth-place finish out of 17 runners. Hebert ran a clean race and held his own against some of the strongest hurdlers in New England Division III. 

A few members of the Men's and Women's Track and Field program will be participating in the NCAA Division III National Championships on May 22nd-25th in Geneva, OH.
