Track & Field: School Record Set by Dickson at Tufts Cupid Challenge

MEDFORD, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Men's Track & Field team saw Justin Dickson (Londonderry, N.H.) reset his own school mark in the Men's Heptathlon on Saturday afternoon at the Tufts Cupid Challenge, hosted by the Jumbos.

Dickson opened his meet with a 7.42 time in the 60m, before rebounding with a 6.28m throw in the long jump to pull up to sixth place. The shot put saw Dickson move up another two spots, throwing for an 11.79m mark, ahead of the High Jump, posting a 1.82m jump. Dickson had a 60m hurdles time of 9.31 to set himself in third before a pole vault height of 4.05m placed him into second with 3,935 points.

The Hawks saw Dickson cap off his historic performance with a 1,000m time of 2:45.18 to finish second with a 4,752 score.
