BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced its weekly awards for the week ending on Mar. 22, announcing Roger Williams University's Madison Moran (Attleboro, Mass) as the league's Rookie of the Week for the sport of Softball.
 
The Hawks faced off back-to-back against Rhode Island College on Saturday, Mar. 21. During the first matchup, Moran serving as the designated player, going 3-for-6 with an RBI and two doubles against the Anchorwomen. In game one, Moran hit in the Hawks second run, which helped to seal the 2-1 victory.
 
Roger Williams (6-5, 0-0 CNE) will host a doubleheader against Coast Guard on Wednesday, Mar 25. The Hawks will then travel to Milton for a CNE doubleheader against Curry.
