BEVERLY, Mass. – The Conference of New England (CNE) has announced their weekly awards for the week ending on Sunday, Apr. 12, naming Roger Williams University's Nathan Tassey (Whitman, Mass.) as the league's Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Tassey ran the 10,000-meter for the Hawks at the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College.  He finished first, crossing the line in a facility-record time of 29:34.42.
 
Roger Williams will continue their season on Saturday, Apr. 18 at the Sean Collier Invitational, in their final tune up for the Conference of New England (CNE) Championships on Friday, Apr. 24 and Saturday, Apr. 25.
