NEW ORLEANS, La. – The Roger Williams University Open Team Racing Sailing team sits second after the second day of competition at the Intercollegiate Sailing Association (ICSA) Open Team Race National Championship.
The Hawks sit with a 16-6 record through the first two rounds of sailing, with Harvard leading the field with a 21-1 record on the weekend. After heading into the second day, with a 7-5 record, the Hawks recorded a 9-1 record on day two.
The Hawks were able to pick up wins over all, but Harvard in day two, falling 3-5-6 to the Crimson, but defeated Stanford and Navy by scores of 1-2-6, and 1-3-4, respectively. RWU then saw a win with a 1-2-3 finish over Dartmouth. The Hawks also picked up wins over Tulane, Georgetown and Brown, improving their record.

Carter Sheehan served as the squad's crews.
