SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. – The Roger Williams University Equestrian team sent two Hawks to the Zone 1 Finals at Mount Holyoke College on Saturday, April 4. There were twenty New England institutions with qualified riders at the show.

Annika Ormsby (Devens, Mass.) placed fourth in the Novice Equitation on the Flat, while Lindsey Savoie (Tolland, Conn.) placed seventh in the Limit Equitation over Fences.

"Our Roger Williams Hawks rode well against strong competition," said Head Coach Dirk Fogg. "While the results did not allow either rider to advance to Nationals, both Annika and Lindsey are determined to earn their way to Zones and beyond next year."

This marks the end of the competitive season for the Hawks.
